PAYSON, Ariz. — The FBI says two armed men robbed a Payson-area casino while threatening employees and firing shots.

According to the FBI, just after midnight on Tuesday, July 17 two masked men dressed in black entered the Mazatzal Casino located just south of Payson, Arizona.

The men carried a long gun and pistols and fired multiple rounds inside the casino.

The suspects threatened employees and demanded money. No injuries were reported in the incident.

The suspects left the casino with an undisclosed amount of money, crossed State Route 87 and got into a waiting vehicle, according to an FBI press release.

The suspects are both approximately 5 foot 10 inches tall and average build.

The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of two people sought in the armed robbery.
