‘Fill the Bus’ event in Prescott Valley is July 23

The Humboldt Unified School District, with help from one nonprofit and two local businesses, is conducting a “Fill the Bus” event Monday, July 23.

Please bring your donations of school supplies and backpacks and help HUSD students start the school year off ready to learn!

Free street tacos for anyone who donates, according to a news release.

The event, which is at Prescott Club at Stoneridge, 1601 N. Bluff Top Drive, is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday.

Sponsors include Firefighter Angels, StoneRidge, and Prescott Club.

Back to School Supplies Giveaway is Aug. 1 in PV

A Back to School Supplies Giveaway is slated for Wednesday, Aug. 1, for Prescott Valley-area military families and families in need.

The event will be in the Humboldt Unified School District Office cafeteria, 6411 N. Robert Road. Look for the signs in the parking lot for building location.

Military families are invited to attend from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; all other families should arrive from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

‘Fill the Bus’ in Chino Valley on July 23

“Fill the Bus,” designed to provide Chino Valley and Paulden students with school supplies and backpacks, will be Monday, July 23.

Please bring your donations to help these students start the school year off ready to learn, a news release states.

The event will be at the Safeway in Chino Valley, 1011 N. Highway 89, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sponsors include Chino Valley Unified School District, Safeway, and the International Association of Fire Fighters #3066.

A Back to School Supplies Giveaway for Chino Valley-area military families and families in need will be Friday, July 27.

The event will be in the Central Arizona Fire & Medical Station 61, 1133 W. Road 3 North, Chino Valley.

Military families are invited to attend from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; all other families should arrive from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
