Obituary: David M. Bowers

David M. Bowers was born Aug. 19, 1934, in Canton, Ohio. David passed away July 8, 2018, in Prescott Valley, Arizona.

David is survived by his wife, Nancy, of 59 years. He graduated from ASU in 1956 and was an integral part of Prescott history as the comptroller of the Prescott Hospital, which is now YRMC, from 1961-66. He owned and operated the computer service business CSA in Prescott from 1966-85. In 1985, he and Nancy opened the Prescott Flower Shop until its sale in 2005, and even served as the president of the Prescott Rotary Club. He and his wife raised four children, all of whom went to Prescott High School.

He is survived by his sisters, Beverly Wildish and Susan Curtis (Russ); his son, Daniel Bowers (Melissa); daughter, Martha Borman (Karl); and son, Tim Bowers (Kristen); as well as five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. David is preceded in death by his son, Steve Bowers.
