Bank robbery suspect still being sought by Prescott Valley police

The Prescott Valley Police Department is still looking for a suspect believed to have been involved in the robbery of the OneAZ Credit Union on Pav Way Friday afternoon, July 13.

“The suspect is still at large,” Prescott Valley Police Public Information Officer Jason Kaufman said.

Officers responded to the report of a robbery at about 4:20 p.m. Friday and were told the suspect had fled the area on foot, according to a news release.

The suspect, described by witnesses as a 5-foot-11 Hispanic man with short, dark hair and facial hair, between 20 and 22 years old and weighing about 140 pounds, was wearing reading glasses, a dark colored baseball-type hat, a blue Captain America T-shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.

“According to witnesses at the credit union, the suspect of the robbery committed the robbery by threatening to use force,” the release states.
