Rev. Dr. Robert H. Henderson

Rev. Dr. Robert H. Henderson of Prescott Valley, Arizona, passed away peacefully on Jan. 15, 2018. He was born in Big Spring, Texas, to Ida Bell Smith Henderson and Frank Henderson on Nov. 24, 1929. He was the eldest of seven children, four girls and three boys.

Dr. Bob was proceeded in death by his parents; wives, Polly and Nann; and two sisters, Anna Belle Moseley and Joyce Ivy. He is survived by his wife, Betty Campbell-Henderson; his only child, Thomas Henderson; grandchildren, Steven and Rachel; two great-grandchildren, Sara and Jack Wilson; sisters, Carol Cooper and Janice Pendley; brothers, Donald Henderson and David Henderson; seven step-grandchildren, Chris Tarbell, J.T. Tarbell, Teri Lynch, Teri Wesley, Tami Beadles, Tonya Burnett, Chad Harman; and numerous step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Dr. Bob, an ordained Religious Science Minister for over 46 years, served five churches as senior minister and one as interim minister. He retired from the Center for Spiritual Living in Prescott, Arizona, in 2009. A beloved and compassionate spiritual leader, he was admired for his inspirational messages, his devotion to teaching Truth Principles and walking his talk. He served as past president for Habitat for Humanity and favorite hobby was singing barbershop with High Mountain Chordsmen.

A memorial service is planned for 11:30 a.m. April 20, 2018, at Center for Spiritual Living, Prescott. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Maggie’s Hospice of Prescott and/or Center for Spiritual Living Archives in Golden, Colorado.
