Elected officials’ financial disclosures online

In an effort to provide easy access to elected officials financial disclosure statements, Arizona Secretary of State Michele Reagan has announced the 2018 reports are now available online.

“These statements give people the ability to review a politician’s business interests, debts and other financial information,” Reagan said. “Over the years we’ve developed a system that posts these documents online giving the public another tool to hold elected officials accountable. Combined with our new campaign finance website SeeTheMoney.com, people can now get a much better understanding of the financial interests of their representatives in state government.”

State law requires the filing of a Financial Disclosure Statement for those who served as a public officer at any time during the previous calendar year. They include a listing of employers, businesses, sources of income, real estate, debts, gifts and special meetings and conferences they attended.

The statements are at go.azsos.gov/cwyf.
