Chaplain Toben Squires, a Prescott Valley ministerial candidate, will explore finding meaning in the new year and honoring the contributions of founders on Sunday, Dec. 30, at 10 a.m. at Granite Peak Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 882 Sunset Ave., Prescott. Coffee hour follows the service. Child care provided.

“Guided Reminiscing: Bringing back Special Moments of our Past” is the topic for Prescott UU Fellowship’s 11 a.m. service. Member Marlee Terry will facilitate a program of guided reminiscing, helping participants reflect upon and share some of the special moments of their lives. Mark Mathewson will provide the music.

Trinity Lutheran Church is having a New Year’s Eve worship service and celebration at 7 p.m. Dec. 31. Join in a family celebration for the New Year including a DJ, games, and refreshments until 10 p.m. Trinity Lutheran Church is located at 3950 N. Valorie Drive, Prescott Valley. 928-772-8845.

At 7 p.m. Jan. 16, the Doane Choir from Nebraska will give a concert of choral music at American Lutheran Church, 1085 Scott Drive. The concert is free and open to the public. The Doane Choir has toured all over the United States, Europe, Brazil, and South Africa.; 928-445-4348.

Jane’s Hope is a Christian ministry open to anyone who has relinquished a child through abortion or adoption, to share, heal, support each other, and experience forgiveness through Jesus Christ.
