Iron Legacy 2nd annual adopt a family

The Bad Company Chapter of Iron Legacy recently adopted two families in the area when another request came in from an outside source for an 8-year-old boy who is diagnosed with a rare type of bone cancer, osteosarcoma. Needless to say, Bad Company now has three families they hope to provide an unforgettable Christmas to! Last Saturday they hosted a benefit at Bottoms Up to help raise funds towards their cause. They had a 50/50 raffle, silent auction with items donated by local businesses in the area and a donation box. The event was a huge success, and several locals came out to show their support, including the young man and his family that Bad Company held the benefit for. Out of respect for their privacy and confidentiality, no names of the children or families are being released.

The Bad Company Chapter of Iron Legacy would like to extend a genuine Thank You to the community for their support and participation. Saturday, Dec. 22, they planned to deliver gifts to these families, in hopes of it being a Christmas they will always cherish.
