Mothers in Bloom, Purple Clover raise money for Teens’ Closet
Local not-for-profit group Mothers in Bloom came together with Purple Clover boutique for a Sip and Shop on Nov. 27 to raise money for Teens’ Closet, a Prescott nonprofit organization that provides new clothing and necessities to tri-city-area teens (ages 13-19) demonstrating financial need.
The four-hour shopping event was full of Christmas shoppers, choosing gifts for friends and family while sipping on wine that was donated by Lloyd’s Liquors. Purple Clover generously donated 20 percent of all sales to Teens’ Closet during the evening, resulting in a total of $425 given to the organization. The event was a great success!
Mothers in Bloom was founded in 2017 by local moms Danielle Hampton and Veronica Phillips. The group began as a way to create opportunities to connect with local mothers while giving back to the Prescott community alongside their children. Every Mothers in Bloom event includes a charitable aspect, and Veronica and Danielle are thrilled to have raised thousands of dollars in both 2017 and 2018 for local charities.
