Letter: Proud Trump hater
Concerning Noel Dusek’s letter entitled “Trump Hater” in response to my posting of Oct. 28, 2018 (“Government and Bone saws”), I have the following to say.
Yes, I will admit to being a proud Trump hater. However, calling me a Democrat or liberal is false. I am a registered Republican. There are many Republicans out there who dislike Trump. Although I am a moderate Republican, there are many staunch conservatives and Christians who are dismayed by Trump to say the very least.
Furthermore, when you state I have no proof in speaking of Trump’s lack of ethics or morality … let me steer you to several decades of video clips, audio recordings, and articles that state exactly what Trump has said and done regarding a variety of issues. Why not just listen to what he will say even today! If his lack of ethics is not on daily view, his ignorance will surely be!
Furthermore, criticizing various Democrat leaders (many of whom do deserve it) is not the same as supporting Trump. Many of the rabid Trump base cannot even directly support him and can only attempt to present him as the lesser of two evils.
Considering all Trump has said and done over the decades, it becomes evident that the majority of Trump supporters have disconnected their objectivity and support him not through facts but through a belief system that borders on religious fanaticism that one would expect to find, for example, among radical Islam.
I will proudly vote for any Republican who speaks out against Trump. … By the way, please note that Trump is not actually a Republican…
