Planning and Zoning to discuss pair of developments
Board also will address two requests for preliminary development plans
Two public hearings on two zoning map change requests are on the agenda for the Prescott Valley Planning and Zoning Commission’s meeting Monday, Dec. 10.
The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in the Prescott Valley Public Library auditorium, 7401 E. Civic Circle.
The first request is by David Maguire, Viewpoint89, for about 4 acres of property at Pronghorn Ranch Parkway south of Antelope Meadows Drive, asking for a change from RCU-70 (residential; single family rural) to R1L-10 PAD (residential; single family limited — Planned Area Development).
The second is a request by VP Prescott Valley for about 12 acres on the southeast corner of Glassford Hill Road and Lon Look Drive, asking for a change from C2-PAD (commercial; general sales and services — Planned Area Development) to RS-PAD (residential; sales and services — Planned Area Development).
The public is invited to the meeting, where both requests are set for public hearing.
Related action items include a request by Maguire for a preliminary development plan (PDP) for 189 lots on 62 acres located on both sides of Pronghorn Ranch Parkway south of Antelope Meadows Drive.
VP Prescott Valley is requesting a PDP to develop 151 detached one-story units on 12 acres at the southeast corner of Glassford Hill Road and Long Look Drive.
P&Z commissioners previously discussed both matters on Nov. 5 at a P&Z Work-Study session.
