Chino Valley’s FFA chapter to host annual Corn Dinner on Sept. 1
It is that time of year again where the Chino Valley High School – FFA program hosts their annual Corn Dinner! Our students, agriculture teachers, and parent volunteers are gearing up for another great event with fresh corn pulled from the fields of the historic Cooper Farm.
Every year, for 68 years running, the Chino Valley FFA Chapter pulls together resources to make this great event a success. This year, we will also be celebrating the Chino Valley Unified School District 100th anniversary. This celebration of 100 years of educating children will be highlighted with live music, fresh baked pies, and carnival games.
Last year, the FFA had a record breaking attendance with over 1,100 patrons coming to eat and celebrate the fall harvest. The event date is Saturday, Sept. 1, beginning at 3 p.m. and ending at 7 p.m.
Please join us in this wonderful celebration of the fall harvest and the 100th anniversary of Chino Valley Unified School District. General admission tickets are $9 in advance and $10 at the door. To purchase your tickets in advance visit the Chino Valley School District Office, Olsens Grains, Warrens Hay & More, Chino Rentals, or Mazy’s. Come and help us celebrate and make this the best Annual Corn Dinner yet!
