‘Grapes-4-Grades’ benefit set for June 24

Prescott Frontier Rotary’s 13th annual “Grapes-4-Grades” benefit will be held on June 24, 2018 at Watters Garden Center. All proceeds from the garden party fundraiser will go directly to Rotary causes and the Prescott Unified School District’s 21st Century Grant Summer Program. The event will feature the Steve Annibale jazz trio, 12 different wines and artisan beers available for tasting, and hors d’oeuvre catered by El Gato Azul.

Prescott Frontier Rotary’s holds its 13th annual “Grapes-4-Grades” benefit on June 24.

Watters Garden Center will be transformed into a garden party for the fundraiser, with all proceeds going directly to Rotary causes and the Prescott Unified School District’s 21st Century Grant Summer Program.

The 21st Century Grant Summer Program incentivizes kindergarten students through fourth graders on academic classes in science, computer, gardening, even yoga, so students continue to do their best. All students are eligible for this summer program starting at breakfast and ending the day with lunch. Last year, more than 200 students participated.

Grapes-4-Grades received an outpouring of support in 2017 raising more than $52,000.

The event features the Steve Annibale jazz trio, 12 different wines and artisan beers available for tasting, and hors d’oeuvre catered by El Gato Azul.

A live auction and raffle will also be held.

Prescott Frontier Rotary is a service organization composed of local business leaders who provide opportunities to serve others and benefit their community while promoting high ethical standards, fellowship, and goodwill.

The benefit runs from 5 until 8 p.m. at Watters Garden Center, 1815 West Iron Springs Road in Prescott. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at Watters Garden Center, Prescott True Value, and Olsen’s Grain.
