Victor F. Banuelos, 85, of Prescott, Arizona, passed away on Sept. 11, 2017, at the Arizona Pioneers’ Home, where he received wonderful care, along with the help of Maggie’s Hospice.
He was born July 21, 1932, in Juchipila, Zacatecas, Mexico. Victor was known as a kind and hard-working man. He worked many years in the Arizona mining industry, as well as working over two decades for the City of Prescott in the Public Service Department.
After he retired from the city, he devoted his life to his wife, children and grandchildren. He was a very humble man who loved all his family, giving his retirement life to care and enjoy them all. His smile, personality and spirit will forever live in his loved ones heart’s. We love and miss you, Tata!
Victor is survived by the love of his life, Lupe Banuelos, passing on just two months shy of their 55th wedding anniversary; their children, daughter Sylvia (Gary) Schulz and son Thomas Banuelos; grandchildren Austin, Garrett and Jacob Schulz, and Anthony, Mia and Marissa Banuelos. He was from a family of nine siblings, being survived by three sisters and five brothers; and many nieces and nephews.
A private family service was held.
