Dennis Wayne McGuire II, 66, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., passed away peacefully on Sept. 8, 2017, in his home. Dennis was born in Phoenix, Arizona, on Dec. 23, 1950.
He lived and attended schools in Phoenix and Tucson, and moved to the Prescott area in 1998.
Dennis was married to Nancy C. McGuire (Fabijanic) on Dec. 16, 1994, in Tucson, Arizona. They celebrated 22 years of love and laughter.
Dennis was a technician in the medical field for more than 20 years. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing, camping, and hiking. Many hours were spent outdoors reading, praying and enjoying God’s beautiful creation. Dennis brought humor to those around him at work, at home, at church and with family and friends.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; his three step children, William (Billy) L. Culkin, Dawn C. Ruehle and her husband, Jeff, Carrie D. MacIntyre and her husband, Richard; his many grandchildren; his sister, Michele K. Harbour and her husband, Robert; his nieces and nephews, and the rest of his family and friends. Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Dennis Wayne McGuire and Mildred Maxine (Halpain) McGuire.
The Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at Living Waters Church, 7367 E. First Street, Prescott Valley. Pastor Chuck Ray will be officiating. A time of fellowship will follow the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mwera Miracle Center Building Fund in Uganda, Africa at www.gofundme.com/2evu6bw.
