Prep Football: Loveall throws for 5 TDs in 71-26 rout over Warriors

Israel Loveall completed 10 of 19 passes for 228 yards and five touchdowns, Scott Finnerty ran for two scores and the Bagdad football team continued its dominance over 1A football in a 71-26 win over San Pasqual Valley on Friday night.
It is the fourth straight victory this season for the Sultans (4-0, 1-0 1A West), which run their winning streak to 15 straight games going back to last season’s championship run.
Finnerty had four carries for 94 yards and the two scores, and caught four of Loveall’s five touchdown passes in the rout over the Warriors (0-3, 0-2 1A West).
Loveall added six carries for 64 yards from the quarterback position for Bagdad, which has outscored its opponents 213-86 this season.
UP NEXT
Bagdad plays its next two games on the road, the first coming at Anthem Preparatory on Saturday, Sept. 16. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
