Chino Valley High School celebrated Homecoming Week with a bonfire, powder puff game and more.

Chino Valley’s senior and sophomore girls teamed up to take on the juniors and freshmen in the annual powder puff game Wednesday night on the high school football field.

The first half was a back and forth affair with both sides scoring a touchdown but missing their extra point.

The second half the seniors and sophomores took control by scoring a safety and an added touchdown to win the game 14-6.

Halftime entertainment was provided by boys showing off their cheerleading acrobatics to the joy of players and fans alike.

Following the game the students gathered around a bonfire to cement their friendships and hope of a good game Friday night against the Kingman Bulldogs.
