Bill Cook

Bill Cook passed away peacefully with his beloved wife at his side on May 2, 2017. He was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada in 1932, the youngest of three sons of William and Muriel Cook. Bill attended Moncton High School and Mount Allison University in Sackville, N.B.

Bill truly valued the time he served in the Arctic on the joint Canadian/American DEW Line (Distant Early Warning Line). Upon returning to the States, he worked in the computer industry until his retirement to Prescott in 1995. Bill enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fly fishing, the activities of the Yavapai Hills Homeowners Association and Prescott United Methodist Church.

Bill is survived by his wife, Irma Campbell-Cook; brother Robert; daughters Rebecca (Steve) Lance and Jennifer Cook; stepdaughter, Cyndie (Terry) Emig; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren; previous wife, Janice Cook; and a host of family and friends who have fond and loving memories of the man who was truly a gentleman.

The family will commemorate memories of his life at a later date.
