Mountain Institute JTED registration is open

Quad-City Schools

MIJTED program registration is open and available on the MIJTED website (www.mijted.net). Students seeking career and technical education classes through MIJTED’s central campus should register now.

High schools in seven local districts and Yavapai College are in partnership with Mountain Institute JTED to provide these career and technical education classes. Students take JTED courses as part of their high school curriculum without additional cost. MIJTED partnering school districts are: Ash Fork, Bagdad, Chino Valley, Humboldt, Mayer, Prescott and Seligman.

JTED courses are designed to directly lead toward a specific career or industry and all MIJTED classes are taught by certified CTE instructors, require specialized equipment, and instruction above and beyond a standard education course.

For the current school year, more than 2,500 students are enrolled in MIJTED classes in western Yavapai County. Program offerings include automotive technologies, aviation, automotive collision repair, culinary arts, medical assisting, nursing, electrical line worker, pre-engineering and welding.

To register for MIJTED classes, students should go to www.mijted.net and register under the student registration tab to complete a short survey. Once the students have completed the survey, they will need to register to become Yavapai College students. MIJTED will contact students in April to register for their specific YC College classes that are associated with their program. If you have any questions about registration, please contact MIJTED district office at 928-771-0791.
