Song of the Pines is a performing and competing Sweet Adeline Chorus that has been an active part of the Prescott music scene for over 50 years. We are an exuberant group of women who sing four-part barbershop harmony and serve it up a cappella style (in other words, without musical accompaniment). Our repertoire is as diverse as our members, and includes everything from the classics to theatrical Broadway show tunes, patriotic selections and everything in between.
Song of the Pines is a proud member of Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide nonprofit organization of female singers committed to advancing the art form of barbershop harmony though education and performance.
If you love to sing and perform (or think you might like to try), you can find us at the First Congregational Church on Gurley in Prescott. We rehearse each Thursday evening from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. We invite those who wish to listen, those who may want to join — as we love an audience.
Also, we are now opening our calendar for July through the end of the year. We can sing your choice, as well as our famous award-winning selections. We always work within your budget. Let us see you, or hear from you. Contact Peggy Ricker, performance coordinator, at 602-315-8295.
