Obituary: Linda Louise Bitner
Linda Louise Bitner, passed away on June 7, 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born Feb. 21, 1939 to John Edward and Jeanette Louise Norgard in Kansas City, Kansas. In Kansas City, she met her husband of 61 years, Vernon Lee Bitner. They were married on July 20, 1956. Together they raised two daughters. They relocated to Casper, Wyoming in 1968 and moved to Prescott, Arizona in 1984.
They worked together in business as well as life enjoying a variety of outdoor activities. Linda worked in Real Estate for 16 years in both Casper, Wyoming and Prescott, Arizona.
Linda was loved by her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who referred to her as Nana. She will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her husband Vernon, daughters; Tammy Cobb (Jon) of Casper, Wyo. and Tracy Gutier (Milton) of Phoenix, Ariz., brothers; John Norgard of Carson City, Nevada, David Norgard (Diane) of NY, sister, Karen Wear of Kansas City, Kan., Grandchildren; Tyler Holm, Tristan Carpenter (Cody), Katrina Cobb, Kirsten Gutier, Kelsie Samuelson (Alex); and Vann Gutier, Great-Grandchildren; Payton, Addison, Jon Bridger (JB), Knox, Decker, Sutton, and Reagan, along with numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Christ Church of Prescott Valley at 4 p.m., 4901 N. Wagon Way, in Prescott Valley.
