Re: Column: What has happened to our politics? Great column Tim. You are 100 percent correct. Today’s political atmosphere is not what the founders of our democracy had in mind.
A BIG Amen, Tim. Money must be legally restricted somehow, to level the field. And “We the People” must begin to communicate and participate in the campaign and after keep informed.
Re: Looking at proposed health care bill by Annie Wales: Young women take for granted the hard won rights they enjoy today. I too was there, fighting for human rights for women. This should be required reading for all women of all ages.
Your opinion concerning Kelli Ward is wrong. She is right McCain is an obstructionist.
Editorial headline correction - Editorial: Kelli Ward’s conduct is unbecoming of a member of the human race. You’re welcome.
“Kelli Ward Conduct” story. Don’t have much use for McCain the past few yrs. but the woman shows poor judgement & no tact.
We’re blessed to have beautiful trails around Prescott but then pet owners won’t pick up their pets doo-doo and some do, bag it & leave it for volunteers to pick up. Shame, shame!! Please keep our trails clean!
Arizona can now be proud of its maverick status. Usually berated for being outside the mainstream, Senator John McCain did the right thing for our State and the nation the early morning of July 27, 2017.
Senator Flake, re: your stance on the Mexican Gray Wolf - the ranchers may have your vote but mine goes to the Wolf.
The deaths of the Hotshots has become a pivotal moment in Prescott’s history. To NOT find a way to memorialize them, and the event, at the actual site of Station 7 is a travesty. Shame on the city of Prescott!
Fire Station 7 is not what honors the fallen Hotshots.... it’s the memory of their heroics. Let’s move on and let the city use the money to pay down their debts.
