In his letter, Contrasting Letters, Wayne Compton admits to not knowing Dr. Larry Wonderling, PhD, but proceeds to paint him with a tainted brush. As one who knows Dr. Wonderling well, I write in the interest of truth and fairness. A well respected person with intelligence and common sense, Dr. Wonderling is a kind and caring man with great empathy and compassion for others.
Dr. Wonderling’s passion for justice and equality continues to educate and inspire through his many writings. His commitment to love and peace would explain his life works of helping those who are among our most vulnerable, including living for 15 years with people in Third World countries as a consultant with the Peace Corps. I cannot have Dr. Wonderling as my neighbor, but I am proud to have him as a friend.
