Saturday, Dec. 2
Sharlot Hall presents Frontier Christmas, After the courthouse lighting on Saturday, Dec. 2, Sharlot Hall Museum, 415 W. Gurley St., is putting on its annual Frontier Christmas, celebrating the holiday as it was when Prescott was the Territorial Capital of Arizona. 
From 6 to 8:30 p.m., luminaries will line the sidewalks and historical figures will tell stories of what Christmas was like way back when, including Judge Howard telling the story of the first Christmas while sitting in the Fort Misery cabin. Living History volunteers will also be in other buildings in period costumes interpreting what life was like in the territorial past. 
Homemade cookies and hot cider will be served and there will be various forms of entertainment. Admission is free for museum members, $5 for non-members and free for youth 17 and younger.
