PAYP donates $12,500 to support local youth

Prescott Area Young Professionals raised $12,500 during their annual Party in the Pines festival. This year’s proceeds were donated to Prescott Area Unified School District Education Foundation on Aug. 1.

A Prescott tradition, born from local inspiration and partnership, the seventh annual Party in the Pines, featuring live music and craft beers, was held on the Mile High Middle School Field in downtown Prescott on June 3. This event is the largest local beer fest of the summer and each year the proceeds from the event benefit a local charity or organization.

On the success of this year’s event PAYP Marketing Chair Meg Smith said, “We are pleased to make our largest contribution to date to the PUSD Foundation and support our local schools.”

Prescott Area Young Professionals is a local organization that provides unique social networking as well as on-going service projects and volunteer opportunities. The mission of PAYP is to build a strong network of career driven individuals who share the same passion for business and community.
