Lorraine Boyert

Lorraine Boyert, was born on Jan. 21, 1934, in Clinton, Iowa, to Ernest and Ethel May. She went to be with the Lord on Aug. 8, 2017, at her home in Prescott Valley, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, Arnold Boyert, Jr.; brothers Virgil and James; and sisters Lillian, Ramona, Dolores and Peggy.

Lorraine met and married Arnold in Iowa. They were blessed with two children, Alan Kenneth and Karen Rose. Lorraine’s love for her husband and children were at the heart of everything she did. In 1973, their son Alan came to Prescott and got saved at the Foursquare Church, which is now the Potter’s House Church. A few years later, his parents and sister followed him to Arizona. Shortly after that they too accepted Jesus as their Savior and became members of the Potter’s House.

For the last several years of her life, Lorraine lived in Prescott Valley, Ariz. with her son Alan. She loved babysitting for family and friends children, going to garage sales, volunteer work, putting together puzzles, and attending her church. She and her son Alan made many trips to visit grandchildren that she adored.

Lorraine made friends easily and was a joy to all those around her. She will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends.

Services will be Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, at 10 a.m., at Potter’s House Church, corner of Highway 89 and 89A in Prescott. Graveside service will follow at Heritage Memorial Park.

Arrangements entrusted to Hampton Funeral Home.
