Prescott-area summer camps offered

Art Camp: Two, separate, weeklong art camps, for children ages 6-11, will take place noon to 4 p.m. June 19-23, and July 17-21, Vista Point Community Center in Granville, 4401 N. Tuscany Way, Prescott Valley. Cost of $95 for the week long camp includes daily snack and all art supplies. For more information, call Jennifer Woods, 928-775-4600.

BotBrain Robotic Camp: A camp for middle school-aged girls and boys to learn about building and operating underwater robots will be June 5-8 at the Yavapai College Career and Technical Education Center (CTEC), adjacent to the Prescott Airport in Prescott. Competitions will be held June 12-15 at CTEC and June 19-22 at the Yavapai College Verde Valley campus in Clarkdale. Applications are being accepted. Deadline is April 7 and space is limited. British Soccer Camp: Challenger Sports has teamed up with Prescott Valley to host this camp during the week of July 17 to 24 at Antelope Park. The camp runs Monday through Friday and each child will be coached by a member of the team of 1,200 British soccer coaches. The camp is open to players between the ages of 3 and 19. Each camper will receive a free camp T-shirt, a free ball, a free soccer poster and a personalized skills evaluation. Any child who signs up online at least 45 days prior to camp will receive a genuine British Soccer Replica Jersey (value $39). Space is limited.
