Linda L. Quinto, age 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 31, 2017, at the Good Samaritan Society - Marley House in Prescott, Arizona.
She loved the peaceful beauty of the Prescott area she had called home since 1995. She was born July 29, 1941, in Temple City, California, to David and Betty (Cook) Condit. She graduated from Dorsey High School, Los Angeles, California, in 1959.
After high school, she got a job working for a bank, which turned into a 25-year career in the financial industry. She had a fun-loving personality and showed off her vivaciousness when she parachuted from an airplane at the age of 21. She enjoyed playing softball, bowling, gardening, going to movies with her girlfriends, and hunting for treasures at thrift stores and swap meets.
Linda had a beautifully tender and caring heart. Throughout her life she reached out in kindness to many around her.
She had a desire to care for and help anyone whom she could see was struggling, including animals. She could not turn away an animal in need and spent much of her time during retirement years fostering cats and helping them find loving homes.
She is survived by her two siblings, David Condit and Betty Dreher; two children, Diana Ewing and Steven Timmel; and five grandchildren, Joshua, Michael, Justin, Joseph, and Courtney. No funeral services to take place. We will always carry her memory in our hearts.
