Cooking with Diane: Slow Cooker French Toast
If you’re looking for a nice change of pace from the usual bacon and eggs breakfast, give this French Toast breakfast casserole a try. Top it with butter and your favorite syrup for a great breakfast.
Slow Cooker French Toast
1 loaf French bread
2 cups milk
½ teaspoons cinnamon
¼ cup butter (soft)
½ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Tear bread into small pieces and put into a large bowl. Mix together eggs, milk, cinnamon, pour over bread, mix together, cover and place into refrigerator overnight.
Put bread mixture into a well-greased crock pot.
Cream butter, vanilla, and sugar, and put over the bread. Cover, cook on high for 2 hours.
