PRESCOTT VALLEY - A Silver Alert has been issued for a Prescott Valley man, 74, who has Alzheimer's disease, police said. He has been missing since Tuesday morning, Sept. 27.

Lloyd Douglas Lynd Sr. was last seen leaving his home at around 9 a.m. driving a white 1997 Chevrolet Silverado with Idaho license plate 2CR5787, according to the Prescott Valley Police Department.

Officials are concerned because Lynd, who also suffers from diabetes and has a hard time walking, doesn't have his medication with him.

Lynd is described as a white man, 5-foot-5, 180 pounds, with white hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark blue hoodie, jeans and suspenders.

Officials think Lynd may be traveling in Flagstaff near Interstate 40 because his last cellphone call came from the Potter Rand Road area of the interstate.

Anyone with information concerning Lynd's whereabouts should call the Prescott Valley Police Department at 928-772-9267.
