HUSD: Students of the week, Sept. 14, 2016
At Coyote Springs we believe in having a safe learning environment that promotes respect and responsibility and where everyone strives for their personal best. It is with great honor that we nominate Tommy Padilla and Porscha Perez for the Prescott Valley Tribune’s Student of the Week.
Tommy Padilla, 5th grade student in Mrs. Niece’s class for Sept. 5:
Tommy is always respectful toward his peers, staff, and the learning environment. He collaborates well with his peers and recognizes the strengths in others. He maintains a positive attitude and consistently does his best in all realms. Tommy is a role model for others, and helps to make our classroom a safe, caring, respectful, positive and welcoming learning environment.
Porscha Perez, 5th grade student in Miss Kominska’s class for Sept. 12:
Porscha has started this school year with a great attitude and by setting goals for herself. She made it a goal this year to be at school every day and achieve perfect attendance. She has not only been at school every day so far with no tardiness, but she comes prepared, is ready to learn, turns all of her work in, and has shown major improvements in reading. Over the summer, Porscha discovered her love for mystery books and has not stopped reading since. She can be found with a book in her hand whenever she has a chance. She is helpful and kind and a pleasure to have in class.
