Longtime Prescott resident Christa Toth has taken on the responsibility of running the location — the first in Arizona and this far west in the United States.

Similar to canvas painting classes, Board & Brush offers fun workshops on how to make rustic wood décor signs.

“It’s excellent for couples, girls night out, office parties, bachelorette parties… you name it,” Toth said.

To introduce the public to her concept, Toth is hosting an open house event on Sunday, Sept. 11, from 1 to 4 p.m.

The shop is located at 156 S. Montezuma St., Suite D (in the alleyway behind Whiskey Row).
