Each Labor Day weekend the Town of Chino Valley pays tribute to its heritage, including being the first territorial capitol of Arizona, with its Territorial Days celebration. In addition to the 30th annual parade, the Morning Lions staged the Pancake Breakfast and the Future Farmers of America chapter at Chino Valley High School hosted the Corn Dinner. After all that food, it was good of the Chino Valley High School cross country team to host its annual 10K and 2-mile runs to help residents work off the calories. To keep folks engaged throughout the day vendors set up in Memory Park to offer games and goods.
