Yavapai Suicide Prevention Coalition meeting on Oct. 26 targets first responders
PRESCOTT – The Yavapai Suicide Prevention Coalition is having a special meeting on Oct. 26 with state Medical Examiner Mark Fischione to give a presentation about the increase of drug abuse and suicides in the county.
The target audience for this event is first responder administrators, including police and fire chiefs, EMS leaders and the sheriff, as well as professionals working in the health and mental health fields that respond to issues of suicide and are involved with trauma among first responders.
This event is not open to the public.
The meeting is scheduled at the West Yavapai Guidance Clinic office at 505 S. Cortez St. from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lunch will be served.
