Obituary: Megan Michelle Brooking

Megan Michelle Brooking, 48, of Tonto Basin passed away on Oct. 1, 2016, at Banner University Medical Center-Good Samaritan in Phoenix. She was born on Dec. 4, 1967, in Escondido, California, to Mike and Kathy Brooking. She is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Schold; and her father. She is survived by her two children, Amber Steeves of Maricopa and Matthew Brooking of Camp Verde. She was the best mom and is deeply missed. She is also survived by her siblings, Mary Ann and Mikee; and her mother, Kathy Brooking of Mayer.

A memorial service and celebration of life will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 2 p.m. at the Ruffner-Wakelin Prescott chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Liver Foundation. She will be loved beyond measure for eternity.
