Letter: Elks future

EDITOR:

The Elks Opera House Foundation has resolved to dissolve the very successful foundation, which since incorporation in 2002 has joined the City of Prescott and many generous donors in the restoration/renovation of the Elks Opera House, two lobbies and the entrance to the theatre.

With the entire Elks building and the opera house now under one ownership – the non-profit Elks Theatre and Performing Arts Center (ETPAC) – the future is assured, with stewardship under the new foundation and management augmented by the volunteer services of the Elks Opera House Guild.

ETPAC continues to book popular performances and offer the restored theatre to variety of uses such as weddings and film festivals, political rallies and community events.

Your participation in this triumph of continued use of the 1905 building and theatre is sincerely appreciated by all concerned as the economic future of our community has been assured by the generosity of many for the benefit of all.
