Sunny weather helped turnout for the 2016 Battle of the Bands in Prescott Valley.

Last year’s Battle of the Bands victor, Little Larry and the Drive, performs at the 2016 Battle of the Bands. The band may have been the first out to perform this year, but there was already a sizable crowd attending at the Prescott Valley Amphitheater. It was a good crowd so far, said Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Marnie Uhl, noting that in past years sunny days have drawn between 2,500 and 3,000 people. “It all just depends on the day, but it looks gorgeous today, so we expect a very good crowd,” she said. Other performers included Inexile, the Time Travellers, the Instant Classics and Ashley Wineland. The Instant Classics, for Magic 99.1, was voted this year's fan favorite.
