Trey Babcock completes Aviation Rescue Swimmer training

On May 9, U.S. Naval Aircrewman (Helicopter) AN Trey Bryant Babcock graduated as class leader of his A Technical School after also completing the rigorous Aviation Rescue Swimmer (AIRRs) training at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida. He will be attending Fleet Replacement Squadron School in San Diego, California. Aviation Rescue Swimmers have one of the most physically demanding jobs in the world. When it comes to saving lives, their strength, speed and endurance decide whether a mission is successful or unsuccessful. Missions include recovery, rescue, humanitarian assistance and operational support.

Babcock attended St. John’s Military Academy, Delafield, Wisconsin, and graduated in 2015 from Horizon High School, Scottsdale, Arizona. He is the son of Jason Bryant and Emily Dehn Babcock of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Angelique Babcock of Mesa, Arizona; and brother to Annabelle Babcock of Mesa, Arizona, and Lexie Babcock of Houston, Texas. He is the grandson of Richard and Merrillee Laudone of Houston, Texas, and David Hoy and Janet A. Hopkins of Prescott, Arizona.
