Learn how to organize, store important documents on May 18

Have you ever lost or couldn’t find an important document? Are all personal, household, financial, benefits and final wishes recorded at your fingertips? Would someone else know where to find this information should you not be able to speak for yourself without sifting through boxes, computers and file cabinets?

Author Marilyn Skovgard has a simple and easy solution to document storage information. Attend this class at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, at First Congregational Church, 216 E. Gurley St. in Prescott, to help you be better organized once and for all.

Skovgard is owner of Peace of Mind Workbooks, author of “Household Matters A-Z” and member of the National Emergency Coalition. She will discuss the importance of planning for emergencies. She also will walk attendees through a one-step system of how to organize, inventory and record important personal information; where and how to store those important documents.

If you have ever lost, displaced an important paper/document this is the class for you. Also to be discussed the importance of having the “family conversation.”

Keep your affairs inventoried, organized and safe in 2016 and beyond. Workbooks will be available for purchase for $46.95 plus tax and are for two people.
