Dylan Peters

Dylan Mikal Peters passed away peacefully at his home on March 10, 2016.

In his 22 years of life, Dylan impacted so many lives with his amazing strength, courage and love through a 12-year battle with brain cancer - all the while with a smile on his face. He taught people not to sweat the small stuff and to be thankful for what you have. The love between him and his mother are what most people only dream of having. If you knew Dylan, you knew he loved his mother. She never left his side and cared for him, along with his Nana, until he went home to be with the Lord.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Jennifer Zagozewski Peters; uncle Johnny Peters; and great grandparents Carl and Kate Zagozewski. Dylan is survived by his mother, Kimberly Hofferber; his two dads Edward Suever and Jay Hofferber; sister Jennifer Suever; stepbrothers E.J. Suever, Heath and Tanner Hofferber; sister-in-law Cassie Hofferber; two nephews, Riley and Weston; grandparents Dwight and Tracey Peters; and many other family members and friends.

We would like to thank all of our family and friends for being there for us through it all. Also a very special thanks to our brothers and sisters at the Americans Motorcycle Club and Hospice Family Care.

A celebration of Dylan’s life will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 1, 2016, at the Heights Church, 2121 Larry Caldwell Drive, Prescott (Building H1). All are welcome to join in our celebration of his amazing life! In lieu of flowers, please bring a card or make a donation to St. Jude in honor of Dylan.
