Next household hazardous waste disposal day is March 20
The Yavapai County Public Works Solid Waste Department is joining with the City of Prescott in hosting a Free Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Day from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 20 at the City of Prescott Transfer Station, 2800 Sundog Ranch Road.
Prescott and unincorporated Yavapai County residents may participate with proof of residency. A driver’s license or utility bill must be provided.
Acceptable items include acids, antifreeze, appliances, batteries, car batteries, cleaners, electronics, fluorescents, Freon, fuel tanks, oil based paints, paint remover, paint thinner, pesticides, smoke detectors, tires, select prescriptions/over the counter drugs, and used oil (maximum 5 gallons per vehicle).
This program is for residential use only. Commercial loads will not be accepted.
