Prescott Creeks speakers explore strategies at March 12 water meeting
Citizens Water Advocacy Group announces the presenters for its March 12 meeting: Michael Byrd and Guy Whol with Prescott Creeks Preservation Association (PCPA) speaking on “Protecting Our Creeks: Why and How.” Celebrating its 25th year, PCPA now focuses on the next 25.
Byrd and Whol will highlight surface water quality improvement efforts proposed and implemented by the Watershed Improvement Council, a community stakeholder group Prescott Creeks initiated in 2009. Looking to the next 25 years, they will explore the strategies and stakeholders that show promise for ensuring that our "Creeks Connect Community."
The CWAG meeting takes place from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 12, at the Granite Peak Unitarian Universalist Congregation building, 882 Sunset Ave. in Prescott (two blocks behind True Value).
