'Young Messiah' movie premiere in Prescott Valley benefits Catholic Charities
Catholic Charities is hosting an exclusive, pre-commercial premiere of the film, “The Young Messiah” in partnership with Ocean Blue Entertainment, 1492 Pictures, CJ Entertainment and Motive Entertainment on Thursday, March 10.
The film, based on Anne Rice’s “Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt” and chronicles a young Jesus as he and his family journey from Egypt to Jerusalem, where he begins to learn his identity and destiny.
Held at Harkins Theaters, 7202 Pav Way in Prescott Valley at 7 p.m., a portion of the ticket proceeds will help fund Catholic Charities programs. The organization operates a variety of social programs that support veterans, foster care, victims of domestic abuse, sex trafficking and homelessness programs.
