New preschool program at Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary

Are you interested in getting your preschooler interested in their natural surroundings? With a new program at Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary, “ZooLittles,” 3 to 5 year olds can come get hands-on experience with plants, insects, water, animals, and more! This class will run once a week on varying Wednesdays and Saturdays, and you can register your child for as many or as few classes as you’d like. Children will create, explore and learn about all things natural!

Cost to attend is $10 for members or $15 for non-members per class (price includes one accompanying adult).

On Thursday, June 23, there is a free morning of exciting experiences, hosted cooperatively by Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary, the Storer Foundation and Prescott College. For this one-day free event, children will participate in fun and engaging activities guided by the best practices and encouraging research about the benefits of being in nature. Children will work with qualified educators who are enrolled in Prescott College’s Summer Institute for Early Childhood Education. Space is extremely limited, so make sure to register now!
