Paul and Shirley Klein celebrate 55th anniversary
Paul and Shirley Klein celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on May 27, 2016. Paul, a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean War, met Shirley on a double date where they were dating other people. They were married 10 months later at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Temple City, California.
They came to Prescott 25 years ago when Paul retired as Vice President Regional Administrator from the banking industry in Santa Barbara County. Shirley also retired from banking in 2002.
They are the parents of three children, Joseph Klein (Heidi), Gina Katz (Miles) and Jennifer Kelber (Craig), and they have four grandchildren. They will also celebrate Paul’s 80th birthday this year with a family gathering at their daughter’s home in Solana Beach, California.
