PRESCOTT VALLEY – Two boys were injured in a single-car rollover crash on Glassford Hill Road near Tuscany Way Sunday night, May 29, a Prescott Valley Police Dept. news release said.

Police said “the Maroon 2001 Mitsubishi hatchback was northbound on Glassford Hill Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The hatchback crossed the center divider over the southbound lanes and up the dirt bank at Tuscany Way causing the vehicle to roll over. The vehicle came to rest against a residential block wall.”

Both boys, 17 years old, went to hospitals. The driver was airlifted to Honor Health Hospital in Phoenix, and was reported on Wednesday to be in stable but serious condition. The passenger was taken to Yavapai Regional Medical Center.

Police are still investigating the cause but believe speed was a factor in the crash, the release said.
