Member orientation for Prescott Frontier Days Jan. 29

Prescott Frontier Days®, Inc. is having a Volunteer/Member Orientation at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 29, at the Freeman Building, 840 Rodeo Drive, on the Prescott Rodeo Grounds.

It takes hundreds of volunteers to put on an eight-performance rodeo, a rodeo dance, a rodeo parade and many of the other events that are a part of the World's Oldest Rodeo®. At this orientation, people can find out how to volunteer, something about the various areas that need volunteers, and membership information for the PFD all-volunteer organization.

The rodeo is not just roping and riding. There are many areas such as Ticket Takers, Ushers, Security, Happy Hearts for Exceptional Children, Old-Timers Reunion, Hospitality and Mercantile - all of which operate with volunteers. If you have ever wondered just what is involved in putting on our local rodeo, stop in at the Orientation and find out.

Further information may be obtained by calling 928-445-3103, the Prescott Frontier Days® office.
