Catherine Ann Deibler

Catherine Ann Deibler, 72 years old, passed peacefully at her home Jan. 5, 2016 to join her husband and best friend, William, in heaven. She was born March 5, 1943 in Bradford, Pennsylvania to Mark X. Minor Sr. and Rita B. Volk.

Cathy is survived by her daughters and their families, Diane Lynn Stein, Paul Arthur Stein and Rachel Marie Meyer of Clearwater, Florida, Sandra Kay Clark, Brian Kenneth Clark, Dacie Ann Clark, Delanie Faye Clark and Savana Mae Clark of Prescott Valley, Arizona, Donna Marie Crawford and Steven Crawford of Hull, Georgia.

Cathy, a.k.a. "itch" and "Chatty Cathy," graduated from St. Bernard High School as a proud Rambler in 1961 and worked as an X-ray technician at Bradford hospital before moving to New Smyrna Beach, Florida where she married and started her family. Cathy treasured the outdoors and loved boating, hunting/fishing, her dogs and most of all her family. During her daughter's younger years, she was PTSO president, Girl Scout's cookie mom and "homeroom mother" for all three girls. As her children grew older, she went back into the medical field to help those in her community, but maintained her active role as a "Supermom" and "Wonderful Wife"!

She joined the community of Prescott Valley inside the past decade and immediately became an active member of St. Germaine Catholic Church and the St. Vincent Society. Cathy continued to receive most of her joy from volunteering for the people and things that she loved in her newfound community. Cathy could be seen at school functions and sporting events in the Humboldt Unified Schools' where her grandchildren attended. She was at all Academic Awards ceremonies with flowers in hand for her beloved granddaughters and saving seats for family and friends who knew she would arrive at least a half-hour early. Cathy even provided "sweet mints," bouquets of flowers and snacks to the staff and students of Humboldt Unified in between delivering meals to the less fortunate families within Prescott Valley.

Cathy enchanted and enraptured all that knew her. She is the epitome of a beautiful person "inside and out." She will be remembered for her ineffable love for the LORD and his people.
