Obituary: Treva Mae Clevenger
Treva Mae Clevenger, 86, born in Landes, West Virginia on May 6, 1929 to Herman Edwin and Rhoda Clista (Alt) Harold, entered into Heaven on a Christmas Star and a full moon, Dec. 25, 2015.
Treva moved to Prescott 50 years ago from West Virginia with her beloved husband of 62 years, James Lee Clevenger, and here raised their four loving daughters, Cindy K. Clevenger of San Diego, Cara L. Drentlaw, Crista J. Clevenger and Celene A. (Drew) Vaughan, all of Prescott.
Her eight grandchildren, Jared, Ashe, Amy, Brett, Carly, Matt, Bryce and Alex kept the twinkle in her beautiful blue eyes.
Treva was a long-time member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church and in earlier days, she was active in the community, owning and operating two past businesses, The New Prospect Natural Food Store and The Ice Cream Parlour as well as buying and selling real estate.
Our Christmas Angel will be remembered fondly and dearly missed by all who knew her.
There will be a Celebration of her Life from 1 to 3 p.m. on Jan. 9, 2016, at 424 Pioneer Drive, Prescott, Arizona.
