Lakeview Plaza developer expands vision

The development team for Lakeview Plaza, a commercial property at the corner of Willow Creek and Willow Lake Roads, has decided to flatten the 14.2-acre parcel to fit a larger user.

Originally structured to accommodate several small-to-medium-sized users, the property had a raised 4-acre plot tucked away from the intersection.

"We were unable initially to figure out how to afford to take that back piece down, so we were going to leave it high for offices," said developer/owner Ken Marbarak. "Then we decided what a terrible waste of land for offices. We can do so much more for the community if we can get a good-sized store there."

Now that it has become a feasible alteration, Mabarak believes they can now go after a larger business "like a Sprouts or somebody like that."

Though he couldn't provide details, Marbarak said an investor wants to put in a multi-tenant building along the frontage of the property and has several tenants in mind already to fill the spaces.

"Hopefully we'll be able to talk more about that in a few months," Marbarak said.
